Ronny Cox charms crowds with self-teasing humor, tart progressive insight, and a lulling Southwestern folk sound. Mark T. Small and Friends

Sunday, November 7 at 4pm.
$15 per ticket.

This concert will be an in and out, round about, all star tour of the Blues. Years ago, Bluesman Mark T. Small and his friends founded an organization called The Hipty Dipty Blues Society. There are about 15 official members who have dedicated their lives to the blues. If you saw any of the members individually, in a club or gathering, one thing is certain—you did not hear a single pop song. The Hipty Dipty's play the blues—period. Additionally, each member is a student of the blues. Look forward to hearing about the history behind the music and how it has shaped every single form of American music. "The Blues is the roots and everything else is the fruits," as Willie Dixon once said. This show is for the ear and mind. Each member will play a short solo set and will discuss their musical influences and they will all jam together at the end of the show.

Performers will include some of the best blues players in New England including Monica Ambroziak, Barry Brown, Russ Mello, Ross Robinson, Walter Woods, Pierre (P Moka Dee) Patry, Mark Greenbaum, Big Bill and Ellie Mae and others. Keep your eyes open for the Monkey—he goes to every meeting!
